Is Today Fired?

Monday has had their review completed, and has come through with a “satisfies expectations” marking on their permanent record. Monday was many things to many people, but it looks like it was good enough to make it through the day safe and sound.

Jpmiller in the legal department was pleased by Monday sending his boss away: “Fortunately for this particular Monday, my boss is on vacation. And not just a one-day, long-weekend vacation-in-name-only, but a real, left-early-on-Friday, driving-out-of-state, taking-the-week-off, see-you-after-the-holiday vacation.”

Sidewinder in the physical plant was treated to some time in the AC: “Fortunately Monday has arranged for the rest of the afternoon to have me sitting in an air conditioned room trying to make the CNC follow the pre-drawn curves in the correct order.”

Chaoticfluffy in the linguistics group got to finish a major project, thanks to Monday, as well: “Monday has finished a big task I’ve been working on for weeks, and brought me some much-needed progress on another project.”

Well, it’s time for another Monday here at Circadian Diurnal Supply. After last Monday’s debacle, we are trying out a new Monday, fresh out of school and eager to please. Two of its references didn’t call us back, but the others seemed to think we’d be a good place for Monday. So, here we are. A fresh start to the week. Let us know how our new Monday does:
