Thursday’s here, with company.
I looked high and low in the HRIS system this morning, trying to find the memo on Take Your Daughter To Work day, but I can’t find it anywhere. Regardless, Thursday brought her daughter into work today, a precocious child of seven. Lots of questions, lots of running, lots of distractions. Fortunately, mostly for Thursday, we’re a pretty child-friendly workplace. Not a lot of work gets done here at Circadian Diurnal Supply, at least, not a lot of really pressing stuff.
What say you, of Thursday and her child?

Thursday? So very fired.
It wasn’t close. It may have been a plurality decision to send Thursday packing, his tattered leather valise under his arm, but it was the right choice, given the situation. So Thursday’s out, and that leaves only Friday to come. The northeast satellite office will be handling things on Friday while I tend to other matters (a series of meetings and disasters yet to rear their ugly heads, I suspect), so she’s in charge, don’t mess with her.
Take a look at Thursday’s report card:
Goddess scribbled, “OK, Guido and Nails are raising their fees and Circadian Diurnal Supply has gone over budget paying to hide the bodies with the fishies.
Thursday, you’re going to have to show yourself out. And don’t let the door hit you on your way. …”
Sabre rattled, “I would remind Thursday that just because one is best friend’s with the boss’s son is not sufficient reason to spend the day standing around the water cooler gossiping and backstabbing CDS staff.
Guido and Nails? Drinks are on me tonight, boys! You know what to do.”
